What is With This Place?! [OPEN]

Despite being new, this dining hall is very similar to the one back at old Atricis, giving a familiarity to the new Weyr. It is one large, central cavern carved out from the side of the cliff with many tables of varying sizes and seat numbers. The kitchens are attached, and there is a set of stairs leading down into the lower caverns.

Teteakea didn't really think she had won any argument in the silence. It just felt tense to her, uncomfortable. She was ok with silences, her and her twin often existed in comfortable silences through their life... Shards... her sister... She missed Takea dearly... That train of thought, thinking of her sister was almost enough to bring her to tears now. Luckily, the Zultaniterider spoke up again, and she was able to keep herself from tearing up in that time, giving her mind something else to focus on other than the homesickness she admittedly felt. However, Dirce's words, the statement of why do they exist if they are wrong, made Teteakea look up at her again a little sharply, clenching her jaw to hold back her retort as the woman spoke again.

"We'll see," was her response in the end, unable to concede to the idea she would think differently, that just some words would change her mind, letting the things she could have said from there go for now. She didn't really want to argue and beat a dead runner, and they likely wouldn't change eachother's minds.

Teteakea pushed around her food uselessly after that, then let out an audible sigh, putting her utensil down. She considered silently for a moment, then stood up.

"Good day, Jr. Weyrwoman Dirce, I should be going before Siveynarth wakes."

Dirce had a feeling that after this meeting, she and Teteakea would never really get along with one another. She wasn't sure how she felt about that, but supposed that not all individuals were meant to get along. They would, however, have to learn to work together at some point, because like it or not, the goldrider was never going to return to Igen Weyr. She would learn that eventually, whether she wanted to or not.

That was an argument no longer meant to be, so Dirce didn't bother pressing against it any logner. There were other matters to tend to, and she knew that the girl was right - she had a dragon to tend to, and Dirce had her duties staring her in the face. With a simple nod, she stood up and bowed her head. "Good day to you, weyrling. Perhaps we'll meet again soon under better circumstances. Until then, may Siveynarth have a lovely day as well."
