  • The Weyr Yard
The main, central area of the Weyr, since it's no longer a "bowl" like before, people have taken to calling it the courtyard, or more often, the Weyr Yard. Dragons land and take off here while people walk from building to building going along their daily duties.

  • Dining Hall
Despite being new, this dining hall is very similar to the one back at old Atricis, giving a familiarity to the new Weyr. It is one large, central cavern carved out from the side of the cliff with many tables of varying sizes and seat numbers. The kitchens are attached, and there is a set of stairs leading down into the lower caverns.

  • The Infirmary
A rather large building in the new Weyr, it is so large due to the necessity of many rooms. The ground floor contains numerous rooms that are set up for use as needed. There is a main waiting room in the center and birthing rooms and a nursery for newborns. There are also desk workers at the entrance to keep track of who comes and goes. A second floor is where most of the healers live.

  • The Hatching Sands
A large natural cavern found by the initial expedition. It has been cleared out and filled with sand. Naturally flowing hotspring pools inside the cavern keeps this cavern warm enough for dragon eggs, but also makes it very humid with all the steam from the hotspring waters.

  • The Candidate Barracks
Like much of the new Weyr, this is a building built in the Weyr Yard. It is a moderately sized building capable of housing up to 48 candidates of each gender at one time. Dragon candidates, Day wher candidates, and even Watch-wher candidates all are housed in this building.

  • Weyrling Barracks
Due to the fact that young dragons can't fly, a Weyrling Barracks in the Weyr Yard was built. It can house new Weyrlings and very young dragons up to a certain growth size. After the Weyrling dragons grow too big for the Weyrling rooms, they take to sleeping out in the Weyrling Pavilion that was built near the Weyrling Barracks.

  • Dragonrider Apartments
Not the large stone caverns that Weyr people are used to, these are buildings built on the top of the cliff, sometimes referred to as the Weyr Cliff. These buildings are all the same size, with multiple apartments for dragonriders to live in in each building. Because of space constraints, dragons sleep in large pavilions built around the dragonrider apartments.

  • Dayhandler Apartments
Built very similarly to the dragonrider apartments, with the only major difference being that these buildings are only single story, and considerably less in number. Day whers can choose to sleep in the apartments or in the pavilion near the apartments. Day wherlings move into these apartments after bonding.

  • The Wherhandler Tunnels
Nothing like the Isil Tunnelhold the wherhandlers used to live in, these tunnels are just big enough for dark living spaces for the handlers and their whers, a small hatching sands, and a small lounge for the whers and any unbonded whers during the day. Wherlings move straight into these tunnels after bonding.
